On November 1, 2025, Hometown Financial Group, Inc., the multibank mutual holding company for bankESB, bankHometown, North Shore Bank, and Abington Bank, a division of North Shore Bank, completed its acquisition of CFSB Bancorp, Inc., the bank holding company for Colonial Federal Savings Bank. The Colonial Federal branches will now operate as a division of North Shore Bank.
