Kilpatrick Townsend served as legal adviser to RaceTrac Inc. and its wholly-owned wholesale fuel supply and trading subsidiary, Metroplex Energy, in Metroplex’s planned acquisition of Gulf Oil LLC. Latham & Watkins advised Gulf in the acquisition, which is expected to be completed by October.
The deal, announced Wednesday, is RaceTrac’s largest acquisition in its 89-year history, the company said.
