Drew Beaty focuses her practice on copyright and trademark law.
Drew has advised some of the world’s most well-known brands on multi-jurisdictional trademark clearance, application prosecution, large portfolio management, international and domestic enforcement, and litigation. Drew has experience working with clients of all sizes and in a variety of industries, including food and beverage, hospitality and tourism, AI and technology, retail and consumer goods, and automotive, among others.
While attending Emory University School of Law, Drew worked with the firm as a summer associate in 2022 and 2023 in its trademark and copyright practice. She served as a legal intern at a well-known multinational technology conglomerate in Menlo Park, California where she analyzed trademark and copyright issues and presented legal findings to its brands and marketing legal team. Drew was awarded the Pro Bono Publico Medal for her time serving as a volunteer in the Safe Families Office of the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation. She participated in the TI:GER® Program, a program that focuses on technology commercialization in a multidisciplinary context, and graduated having completed the Transactional Certificate Program.
Prior to attending law school, Drew attended Indiana University, Jacobs School of Music where she served as a course assistant and served on the board of Indiana University’s chapter of the American Choral Directors Association.
