Overview

Stephanie Bedard focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation in both state and federal court. Her practice spans a range of practice areas and industries, including breach of contract disputes, class actions, complex fraud cases, trade secret misappropriation, and insurance disputes.

Stephanie has experience with all aspects of the litigation process, including pre-litigation investigations, motion practice, complex document discovery, depositions, dispositive motions, settlement negotiations, hearings, and trial. She has represented parties in both private arbitration and mediation.

Stephanie is passionate about pro bono and community work. In 2019, Stephanie received Kilpatrick’s Pro Bono Freedom Award for her representation of two Somali refugees seeking asylum in the United States. She currently serves as a co-chair of the Atlanta Community Network committee and as a co-chair of the Atlanta women’s initiative.

Stephanie was a judicial clerk to the Honorable Virginia Emerson Hopkins in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.

Prior to law school, Stephanie worked as a legislative assistant for a member of Congress in Washington, D.C., where she was responsible for legislation involving healthcare, energy, the environment, education, labor, and technology.

Stephanie was recognized in 2026 and the five years immediately preceding as one of the “Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch” for Commercial Litigation by The Best Lawyers in America®. She was recognized as a “Rising Star” in 2026 and the four years immediately preceding for Business Litigation by Super Lawyers magazine.
