Alyssa Friedman concentrates her practice on complex commercial litigation. Her practice spans across multiple areas, including breach of contract, employment disputes, class actions, ERISA litigation, and partnership disputes. Alyssa is experienced in drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, settlement agreements, requests for injunctive relief, and management of discovery in complex litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Alyssa was an associate in the Chicago, Illinois office of a well-established litigation law firm where she focused her practice on commercial litigation. Previously, she worked as an associate at a boutique commercial law firm where she gained experience in motion practice in both state and federal court.

While attending law school, Alyssa clerked at both real estate and business litigation law firms. In 2019, Alyssa participated in an immersive summer semester course at Humboldt University of Berlin in Germany where she worked closely with human rights advocacy groups. Specifically, she aided the Center for Intersectional Justice, a non-profit organization, by drafting an update to its Briefing Report, where she analyzed emerging laws, trends, and policies in an effort to identify the most beneficial types of strategic litigation for addressing intersectional discrimination.

Alyssa has basic knowledge of French.
