Daniel Gaitan is an intellectual property attorney focusing on litigation, enforcement, and technology-related matters. He represents a wide range of clients, including Fortune 100 and 500 companies, across industries such as media and entertainment, technology, consumer products, fashion, financial services, and food and beverage.
His practice spans both intellectual property litigation and global enforcement efforts. His matters typically involve trademark, copyright, breach of contract, right of publicity, trade secret, and unfair competition claims. He advises clients on pre-litigation strategy and develops and manages global intellectual property enforcement programs, including online initiatives addressing counterfeiting, infringement, domain name disputes, and other internet-based abuses.
Daniel has assisted in the design and implementation of intellectual property enforcement programs, including platform-based DMCA and trademark enforcement policies and workflows. Daniel works closely with partners to drive litigation and enforcement matters, managing day-to-day strategy, client counseling, and execution. He regularly leads Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) and domain name dispute proceedings and plays a central role in complex enforcement and litigation matters.
