Kaleigh Jones focuses her practice on practice in the areas of real estate, finance, and capital markets.
Prior to joining the firm, Kaleigh worked as an in-house paralegal for the General Counsel at a single-family office located in Palo Alto, California where she provided legal support on a wide range of areas including: investment portfolio (hedge funds, private equity, real estate, fixed income, equities), private foundations, aviation and maritime assets, estate planning, private trust company, and general corporate (entities both foreign and domestic) for an ultra-high net worth individual and dynamic team. Previously, Kaleigh was an in-house legal intern at one of the world’s largest blockchain protocols located in San Francisco where she assisted its legal team with a variety of business matters in the areas of intellectual property, trademark, employment, data privacy, business formations, and acquisitions.
While attending law school, Kaleigh served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Newton Lam in the Superior Court of California, County of San Francisco and as a judicial extern to the Honorable Maria-Elena James in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. Kaleigh was Senior Articles Editor of the Intellectual Property & Technology Law Journal, Volume 24, Issue 2 and was Survey Editor and Survey Author of the Intellectual Property & Technology Law Journal, Volume 24, Issue 1.
Before attending the University of San Francisco Law School, Kaleigh worked with the firm from 2014 to 2017 as a paralegal in its Corporate practice where she participated in all stages of corporate real estate finance transaction matters, representing lenders, and sub-servicers in commercial mortgage loan assumptions, defeasances, and commercial mortgage loan servicing. After she graduated from law school, Kaleigh worked with the firm as a law clerk and then a loan servicing specialist.
Kaleigh has basic knowledge of Spanish.
