Amanda Kusnierz focuses her practice on trademark matters, both domestically and internationally. She works closely with businesses on brand adoption, protection, management, and enforcement strategies across a wide range of industries, including technology, fashion, food and beverage, consumer products, and entertainment, to develop strategic approaches to building and safeguarding brand value.
Amanda supports clients throughout the entire lifecycle of a brand. Her experience includes trademark selection and clearance, prosecution, and enforcement. She regularly represents clients in both oppositions and cancellations before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB). Amanda is also a skilled negotiator and frequently handles letters of consent, coexistence, and settlement agreements. In addition, Amanda handles domain name disputes before the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) under the Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP). She brings a practical and business focused perspective to helping clients protect their trademark portfolios.
Prior to joining the firm, Amanda was a trademark associate in the New York City office of an international law firm, where she managed the full lifecycle of domestic and international trademark prosecution, served as the lead attorney and primary client contact for several high-profile portfolios, and provided ongoing counsel regarding prosecution, enforcement, and brand management. Previously, Amanda worked at other IP boutiques, handling domestic and international trademark portfolios for a broad range of clients.
Amanda was recognized as one of the "Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch" for Intellectual Property Law in 2022, 2023 and 2026 by The Best Lawyers in America®. She was named a “Rising Star” from 2021 to 2026 for Intellectual Property by Super Lawyers magazine.
