Overview

Chris Lapp focuses his practice on corporate and securities matters, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory matters for financial institutions. Chris has extensive experience in representing public companies in connection with public and private offerings of debt and equity securities as well as advising on corporate governance matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Chris was a senior associate and member of the North American Corporate and Securities Practice Group at an international law firm in its Washington, D.C. office where he represented issuers in a wide range of securities offerings across a variety of industries and advised issuers with respect to public securities offerings, including offerings of equity and debt securities, secondary offerings, and at-the-market offerings. Previously, Chris was an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of an international law firm where he represented life insurance companies and other institutional investors in connection with domestic and cross-border private placements of corporate securities.

While attending New York University School of Law, Chris was Senior Articles Editor of the Journal of Law and Liberty.
