Brian Lewis focuses his practice on cross border transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and securities.
Brian regularly advises domestic and international clients on a broad range of general corporate transactional matters, including U.S. and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and private equity transactions with a focus in the telecommunications and technology industries. He also regularly advises public companies on corporate governance, securities regulations applicable to officers, directors, and principal shareholders, stock exchange rules and regulations, and periodic reporting responsibilities.
Brian previously worked with the firm as a summer associate. He also previously worked for a multinational professional services firm performing buy- and sell-side financial due diligence for German Mittelstand companies and European private equity investors.
During law school, Brian was the Business Law Fellow and served as both research assistant and Business Organizations teaching assistant to Professor Omari Scott Simons. He also interned with a French multinational aerospace company in Melbourne, Florida, and a national law firm in its Washington, D.C. office. He was a member of the Editorial Staff of the Wake Forest Journal of Business and Intellectual Property Law.
While attending the University of South Carolina, Brian studied international business and economics. He studied abroad at the University of Mannheim Business School in Germany.
Brian is fluent in German.
