Overview

Peyton Mitchell focuses her practice on environmental and product regulation matters.

While attending Wake Forest University School of Law, Peyton worked with the firm as a summer associate in 2023 and 2024. She served as a judicial intern in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina in 2024. Peyton was a member of the Best 1L Team in the Transactional Law Competition in 2022. She was a Runner-Up in the inaugural Brigadier General Wayne E. Alley Military Law Moot Court Competition in 2023 and a Runner-Up in the National Moot Court Regional Competition in 2024. Peyton also served as a Coordinator for the Teen Court Pro Bono Project. She helped draft a brief and presented an oral argument for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit as a 2L law student in 2023. She also was the Chief Justice of the Moot Court Board at Wake Law from August 2024 to May 2025.
