Ms. Gattuso will speak at a session titled, “Cyber Security: What Bank Boards and Senior Management Need to Know.” This presentation focuses on the current and developing legislative and regulatory environment regarding cyber security and its effect on the banking industry. Specifically, it will focus on three areas: (i) existing federal and state cybersecurity regulations; (ii) developing federal and state cybersecurity legislation and the regulatory appetite for such regulation (including FFIEC guidance and NIST framework); and (iii) best practices for financial institutions, including board responsibilities, how to establish a cybersecurity program, third party relationships and information sharing.
