The Asia Pacific Resilience Summits and Expo (APRISE2015) will feature: the seventh annual Asia Pacific Clean Energy Summit and Expo; the Pacific Agriculture Innovation Summit and Showcase; the Pacific Defense Energy Summit and Showcase; and the Islands Innovation Summit and Showcase. All the events will bring together stakeholders from the business, government and technology sectors to focus on resilience. Participants will explore solutions across the “global resilience pillars of energy, agriculture, water and security” for the vanguard communities in the onset of climate change. Energy topics will include everything from microgrids, storage, grid security and defense, to bioenergy, waste and water innovations, transportation, carbon utilization and renewables. In addition to covering related energy topics, the Agriculture Summit will consider, inter alia, precision agriculture, crop and yield innovations, and aquaculture innovations. On islands, the programme will include an examination of islands' resilience needs, including disaster and resource management.
