Jury selection is a difficult – and essential – process when your case goes to trial. At this program, experienced trial attorneys and a sitting judge taught how to get it right, how to improve skills at selecting a jury, and how to avoid classic mistakes. They walked through the mechanics and rules, provided advice and strategies, updated on governing case law, and helped navigate the latest issues related to jury selection. Faculty also held a mock jury selection session, presided over by a sitting judge, to give an example of what works and what can hurt your case.
