The Full Committee of the National Committee on Vital and Health Statistics (NCVHS) advises the Health and Human Services (HHS) on health data, statistics, privacy, national health information policy, and the Department’s strategy to best address those issues. The Committee assists and advises HHS in the implementation of the Administrative Simplification provisions of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).
This session will cover a general overview of the GDPR from a HIPAA perspective.
