This presentation discusses which areas IP diligence needs to focus on for the particulars of a transaction (type of deal, size of target, technology area, etc.). We will also discuss the top IP issues to consider, what/how to prioritize in a time crunch, how to manage to a diligence budget, etc. The speakers will also share key questions to ask the deal team prior to commencing the IP diligence which will save a lot of time and money, and may even reveal untapped sources of revenue.
Presented by Kilpatrick Townsend partners Siegmar Pohl (a corporate attorney who focuses his practice on cross-border M&A and complex IP transactions), and Paul Haughey (a patent attorney who focuses on patent diligence, clearances, valuations and opinions).
