Insights: Events Trauma-Informed and Culturally Competent Practice in Indian Country

Bree Black Horse will discuss the U.S. Department of Justice’s new Missing or Murdered Indigenous Persons Regional Outreach Program and the importance of applying a trauma-informed approach when working with American Indian and Alaska Native communities. Bree’s remarks will also include valuable training on culturally competent practice in Indian country, providing insight into the unique challenges faced by Indigenous individuals and the communities that serve them.
