Businesses are facing increasing pressure to develop and deploy artificial intelligence tools. But how should they respond when those AI tools stop working as intended? This session explores how to identify and manage AI incidents, including bias, privacy breaches, malicious attacks, and control failures. We will outline key components of an effective AI incident response plan, highlight governance and root cause analysis best practices, and discuss how to improve readiness. The session will conclude with a tabletop exercise in which we will walk through responding to an evolving AI Incident.
