Insights: News Partner Mark J. Riedy Speaking at the North American SAF Conference and Expo
Washington D.C. (August 21) – Kilpatrick Townsend announced that Partner Mark J. Riedy will be speaking about “State of the Art Funding and Offtake Structures for SAF Projects” at the North American SAF Conference and Expo on August 30, 2023, at 2:40 pm CT. The event is in-person at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

The North American SAF Conference & Expo is designed to promote the development and adoption of practical solutions to produce SAF and decarbonize the aviation sector. Exhibitors will connect with attendees and showcase the latest technologies and services currently offered within the industry. During two days of live sessions, attendees will learn from industry experts and gain knowledge to become better informed to guide business decisions as the SAF industry continues to expand.
Mr. Riedy Chairs Kilpatrick Townsend’s energy practice. He primarily focuses his practice on U.S. and international project development and finance and private placement representation of renewable and conventional energy and chemicals, clean technology, environmental and infrastructure clients. His clients principally represent developers, lenders, EPCs, O&Ms, equipment providers, private equity, venture capital and infrastructure funds.
In his more than 45 years of practice, Mr. Riedy has represented clients in domestic and international matters, including energy and infrastructure, project development and debt and equity financing contracts, mergers and acquisitions, technology outsourcing, investment fund structuring and related investments therefrom, venture capital and private equity structuring and related contracts, and compliance with regulatory and legislative issues. He also has represented clients in international disputes before U.S. and foreign agencies, dealing with matters such as anti-dumping, export controls, sanctions, and anti-bribery. He has counselled renewable and conventional energy clients doing business in more than 75 countries and lived in Asia for more than eight years working on significant project financings.
