Insights: News Kilpatrick Strengthens Government Relations Team with Experienced Strategist
WASHINGTON D.C. (July 23, 2024) – Kilpatrick announces the addition of Keval Patel as a Government Relations Advisor in the firm’s Washington D.C. office. Mr. Patel joins as a seasoned government relations and public affairs strategist who will advise clients on federal funding issues, technology including broadband issues, and navigating state and federal grant programs.
Mr. Patel most recently served as a Government and Public Affairs Specialist at Cox Communications, the largest private broadband provider in the United States. As a key member of the Market Expansion Team, he played a pivotal role in coordinating and supporting government and community engagement efforts aimed at promoting broadband expansion into new markets. Mr. Patel specialized on strategic planning on initiatives such as the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Program, and played a role in navigating state and federal grant programs under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) and the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA).
Previously, Mr. Patel served as a Finance Director for U.S. Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock’s (D-GA) campaign for U.S. Senate, where he oversaw the growth and execution of the campaign’s in-state fundraising operations. His strategic leadership contributed significantly to the campaign’s success in raising over $326 million between 2020 and 2022, in a highly competitive campaign that determined control of the Senate majority.
Mr. Patel has also served as the Deputy Finance Director for Teresa Tomlinson for U.S. Senate and as a Legislative Aide at a prominent governmental affairs consulting firm both based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Mr. Patel holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Georgia, Terry College of Business, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Georgia, School of Public and International Affairs.
