Denver Managing Partner Justin Krieger was recently quoted in Law360 on how attorneys are adapting to the evolving landscape of the America Invents Act patent review system.
“In many instances, it would be highly ill-advised to file a petition for a patent that’s older than six years,” Krieger noted, adding that settled expectations have been found when a patent is as young as four years old if the owner and challenger have engaged in negotiations.
