Sonia Baldia is a partner in the Technology, Privacy & Cybersecurity practice at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP in Washington, D.C. Her practice focuses on complex technology transactions, strategic sourcing and outsourcing, cloud services, digital transformation, data monetization, intellectual property, clinical trials, R&D collaborations, supply chain operations, and emerging technologies.
For more than two decades, Sonia has advised both customers and service providers across the full lifecycle of technology and commercial transactions, from strategy and procurement through negotiation, implementation, governance, transition, and ongoing operational management. Her work focuses on helping clients structure durable transactions that balance commercial flexibility, regulatory compliance, operational performance, and long-term business transformation. She also advises clients on the legal and commercial implications of generative and agentic AI, including data rights, product counselling, and contractual frameworks for AI-enabled products and services.
