Danny Begasse is a USPTO-registered patent attorney who focuses his practice on patent prosecution and counseling. He also counsels clients on patent and trade secret strategy, manages U.S. and global patent portfolios, and conducts trademark clearance and intellectual property due diligence. Danny has drafted and prosecuted patent applications across a wide range of technologies including computer hardware and software systems, desktop virtualization, integrated circuit fabrication, UAV/Drone systems, machine learning and artificial intelligence, mobile and wireless networks, and mechanical devices. He has additional experience with freedom to operate, patentability, and invalidity investigations.
Prior to joining the firm, Danny was an associate in the Atlanta, Georgia office of a boutique intellectual property law firm where he drafted and prosecuted patent applications in the areas of electronics and software. Previously, he worked as an associate at a full-service AmLaw 100 firm in its Atlanta office where he managed patent portfolios for companies across various industries. Danny began his career in patent prosecution as a technical advisor and patent agent, and then as an associate, at nationally recognized law firm in its Atlanta office.
