Helen Cheng focuses her practice on patent prosecution and counseling primarily in the areas of electronics and software.
While attending Pepperdine Caruso School of Law, she served as the Intellectual Property and Entertainment Director for the Palmer Center for Entrepreneurship and the Law. Helen worked with the firm as a summer associate in 2023 in its Electronics and Software Patents practice. She also served as a law clerk in the Organized Crime Division of the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office in Los Angeles, California.
Prior to attending law school, Helen was a Business and Information Solutions Associate in the Office of the General Counsel at a major global financial services company in New York City. Previously, she was a Quality Assurance and Test Engineer at an international media company in its New York City headquarters.
While attending the University of California, San Diego, Helen served as a software engineering intern at a healthcare software provider based in San Diego, California.
Helen is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
