Paige Clifton focuses her practice on business and finance, mergers and acquisitions, and securities. Having practiced as a litigator for many years before joining the firm, she brings a unique perspective to clients and approaches each transaction with an eye towards avoiding future disputes.
Prior to joining the firm, Paige was a member of the litigation group of an international law firm in its Atlanta, Georgia office where she represented clients in complex commercial disputes involving breaches of merger and acquisition agreements as well as shareholder derivative, securities, and fiduciary litigation. She advised both buyers and sellers in disputes concerning earn-outs and indemnity obligations and also represented clients in general corporate disputes.
While attending law school, Paige was a member of the SMU Science and Technology Law Review. She studied economics, business, and French while earning her undergraduate degree.
