Dillon Colgan serves as the firm’s Department Operating Officer (DOO) for its Intellectual Property (IP) Department. He is responsible for all strategic and operational aspects for the department including revenue growth and profit maximization, overseeing business development efforts and client satisfaction, and monitoring the effectiveness of the department’s hiring, training, and retention of talent. Dillon also participates in special projects for the Firm Chair, the Executive Committee, and the Chief Operating Officer.
Prior to joining the firm, Dillon was the Practice Director at a leading international law firm where he oversaw a multi-jurisdictional intellectual property law practice with a focus on operational management and strategic growth. Previously, Dillon served as Senior Business Manager at a white-shoe law firm where he was Senior Global Business Manager for its Corporate Finance Practice Group.
Dillon holds a Juris Doctorate from Pace School of Law and is currently pursuing his M.B.A. degree from the Pace University Lubin School of Business.
