Ava Conger is a trial lawyer who focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation and business disputes. She has represented clients as trial counsel in federal and state courts, as well as in arbitration. Ava also represents clients in all phases of litigation in forums nationwide, including complex breach of contract and indemnification litigation, trade secret litigation, tax and fee disputes, class actions, real property disputes, and False Claims Act litigation. Her practice spans a range of industries, including telecommunications, banking, healthcare, software development, and food and beverage.
Ava also has experience in white collar crime and internal investigations. She was part of the Volkswagen AG Independent Compliance Monitor & Auditor team that oversaw VW AG's compliance with Plea Agreement and Consent Decree obligations arising from parallel criminal and civil cases concerning emissions fraud with regard to the company's diesel-powered cars sold in the United States. She has also assisted clients in responding to grand jury subpoenas, civil investigative demands, and other agency subpoenas.
Prior to joining the firm, Ava served as a law clerk for the Honorable Marc T. Treadwell in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia.
Ava was recognized in 2026 and the five years immediately preceding as one of the "Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch" for Commercial Litigation and White-Collar Criminal Defense by The Best Lawyers in America®.
