Nate Delman focuses his practice on bankruptcy and insolvency matters including business reorganization, committee representation, and the protection of secured and unsecured creditors’ rights in insolvency situations. Nate has represented creditors’ committees, liquidating trustees, chapter 7 trustees, and has extensive experience both prosecuting and defending adversary proceedings in bankruptcy court.

Prior to joining the firm, Nate was an associate in the Bankruptcy, Reorganization, and Creditors’ Rights Group at HMB Legal Counsel, a well-established, corporate-focused law firm based in Chicago, Illinois. He was also the firm’s resident resource on personal bankruptcy.

He was appointed as an inaugural member of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois Local Rules Advisory Committee, which provides direct communication with the bench on the applicable local bankruptcy rules. He currently serves as Vice Chair for the Chicago Bar Association’s Bankruptcy and Reorganization Committee.
Nate was recognized as an Illinois “Rising Star” in 2020 and a “Super Lawyer” in 2024 and 2025 for Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights by Super Lawyers magazine.
