Michael Figg focuses his practice on patent prosecution and counseling primarily in the areas of electronics and software.
While attending law school, Michael worked with the firm as a summer associate in 2021 and 2022 in its electronics and software patent prosecution practice. He served as a student intern in the Gator Team Child Juvenile Law Clinic, a full-service law firm that provides representation primarily in dependency, delinquency, and educational proceedings, where he worked with an attorney on juvenile law matters. Michael was a member of the Journal of Technology Law and Policy.
While attending Southern Methodist University, Michael served as a Teaching Assistant where he supervised students and assisted in teaching courses on signal processing and digital and analog filter design. He was also a Product Development Engineer Intern at a global semiconductor company in its Dallas, Texas headquarters.
