Bryan Gordy is a registered patent attorney who focuses his practice on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in a variety of technical areas including payment systems, user interface improvements, virtual reality, augmented reality, graphics rendering, image editing, machine learning (ML), encryption and security, location-based services and geofencing, agricultural applications, logistics, and mechanical applications. Bryan also counsels clients on intellectual property strategies and has experience in performing freedom-to-operate, patentability, and infringement analyses.
Prior to rejoining the firm, Bryan was a patent attorney at a boutique intellectual property firm where he prepared and prosecuted patent applications as well as provided advice and recommendations to clients concerning patent portfolios directed to a wide variety of subject matter. Previously, he worked with the firm as a patent attorney in its Atlanta, Georgia office. Bryan began his career in patent prosecution as a patent agent while attending law school.
Bryan is fluent in Portuguese and has a basic knowledge of Spanish.
