Liv Hauserman focuses her practice on copyright and trademark law.
While attending the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law, Liv worked with the firm as a summer associate in 2024 in its Trademark and Copyright Practice. She also worked as a law clerk at a leading full-service intellectual property management agency in Beverly Hills, California. During law school, Liv was an Executive Senior Editor of the Southern California Review of Law and Social Justice. She also served as a Legal Writing Fellow, teaching legal writing and advocacy to L.L.M. and first-year law students, and represented USC in the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition.
Prior to attending law school, Liv worked as a litigation paralegal in the New York City headquarters of a prestigious law firm, where she handled complex litigation cases including breach of contract, copyright litigation, and antitrust matters. While there, Liv collaborated with the Legal Aid Society of New York on cases for New York’s Domestic Violence Survivors Justice Act and researched 8th and 14th Amendment claims for inmate and pre-trial detainees assaulted by corrections officers. Liv also assisted individuals and families in preparing applications for temporary protected status and asylum.
While attending the University of Michigan, Liv worked as a research assistant for the University of Michigan Law School, analyzing the use of defamation law to retaliate against investigative journalists, and was a member of the University of Michigan Mock Trial Team. She also worked as a legal intern in the Juvenile Abuse and Neglect Division of the Washtenaw County Office of the Public Defender in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Liv is proficient in Spanish.
