Quynh La concentrates her practice primarily on patent, trademark, and copyright litigation matters. She represents clients across a variety of industries including biotechnology, medical devices, computer software, and consumer goods.
Prior to joining the firm, Quynh was an associate in the San Francisco, California office of a global law firm where she focused primarily on intellectual property litigation in the areas of trademark, trade secret, patent, and copyright and also represented clients in class action and complex commercial litigation cases.
Quynh is committed to serving the community and those in need and she maintains an active pro bono practice, with a particular focus on immigration-related matters.
While attending the University of Washington School of Law, Quynh gained valuable clinical experience while assisting entrepreneurs on corporate and intellectual property matters including trademark advice, clearance, and registration. She also honed her skills as a summer associate at her previous law firm and at a law firm in its Seattle, Washington office. Additionally, Quynh gained in-house experience as a summer intern at a Japanese multinational video game company in its Seattle office where she broadened her perspective on the legal needs of corporations. She also served as Chair of Alumni Relations and was Notes and Comment Editor for the Washington Law Review.
Before embarking on her legal career, Quynh played a vital role in litigation support at a prestigious full-service commercial law firm in its New York City office where she served as an Internet Researcher, a Senior Internet Researcher, and then a Brand Protection Specialist and Domain Manager. These pre-law roles enhanced Quynh’s ability to provide effective counsel and strategic solutions in the realm of intellectual property law.
Quynh is proficient in Vietnamese and has basic knowledge of Italian and Spanish.
