While attending the University of Florida Levin College of Law, Javier worked with the firm as a summer associate in 2024. He served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Chief Magistrate Judge Edwin G. Torres in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Prior to attending law school, Javier was a patent research analyst at a leading intellectual property research and consulting firm based in Scottdale, Arizona where he conducted PCT international searches and drafted preliminary examination reports.

While attending the University of Michigan, Javier was a graduate researcher in its Taub Research Group where he researched to develop sustainable composite selection for automobile door modules using plant bast fibers to potentially replace glass fibers for more carbon-negative manufacturing and lower-density composite.

While attending the University of Florida, Javier was an undergraduate inorganic chemistry researcher as part of its Christou Research Group where he performed synthesis to expand a new family of cerium oxide nanomaterials for use in free-radical scavenging and combating chemical weapons.

Javier is fluent in Spanish.
