Kyoko Makino is a registered patent agent who leverages her background in computer science to assist clients in preparing and prosecuting patent applications. Her knowledge of technologies, including wireless networking, cloud computing, programming language grammar, application development, databases and displays, semiconductors, and dynamic random access memory circuit designs, gives Kyoko an in-depth understanding of clients’ unique needs.
Prior to joining the firm, Kyoko worked as a patent agent at a global law firm in its Los Angeles, California office where she prepared and prosecuted patent applications and managed patent portfolios. Previously, Kyoko was a patent agent at an intellectual property law firm based in Los Angeles where she focused on domestic and international patent matters.
Kyoko’s programming languages include ASP.NET, Java, C++, SQL, and Python. She also acquired unique skills while working in the gaming and entertainment fields early in her career.
Kyoko’s native language is Japanese.
