Victoria Mpistolarides focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation and immigration matters. In her litigation practice, she represents corporate and individual clients in a broad range of disputes, including breach of contract, fraud, consumer protection, and business tort. She has experience handling matters through all stages of litigation, including managing discovery, drafting and arguing dispositive motions, preparing and defending witnesses, taking and defending depositions, and developing trial strategy. Victoria has also served in trial leadership roles, including as co-chair and second-chair trial counsel, where she contributed to successful outcomes for clients in complex disputes.
In her immigration practice, Victoria advises businesses and individuals on employment-based and humanitarian immigration matters. Her experience includes preparing and filing nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions, including O-1, EB-1, and related employment-based matters, counseling employers regarding workforce and compliance considerations, and providing immigration-related guidance in corporate and business contexts. She regularly handles matters before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and has experience representing clients in immigration proceedings and related advocacy matters.
Victoria's commitment to immigration advocacy also extends to her pro bono practice. She co-chaired an asylum merits hearing for an LGBTQ asylum seeker and helped secure adjustment of status for an Afghan client fleeing persecution. She has also represented vulnerable clients in asylum and humanitarian matters involving significant procedural and jurisdictional challenges. In recognition of this work, Victoria has been honored as one of Kilpatrick Townsend's 2024–2025 Pro Bono Associates of the Year and as a recipient of the firm's 2025–2026 Pro Bono Freedom Award.
In addition to her practice, Victoria serves on the Board of the Filipino American Lawyers Association of Chicago (FALA Chicago), where she has served in leadership roles across consecutive terms. She was also selected as a Fellow in the 2024–2025 National Filipino American Lawyers Association Leadership Academy and has moderated and participated in panels focused on professional development, diversity within the legal profession, and mentoring aspiring attorneys. Victoria regularly speaks with and advises students and early-career professionals regarding pathways to law school, professional development, and careers in the legal field.
She earned her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law, where she was a member of the Sports Law Journal and held leadership positions in the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association and the Entertainment and Sports Law Society.
