Overview

Wyatt Reid focuses his practice on patent prosecution and counseling primarily in the areas of electronics and software.

While attending Emory University School of Law, Wyatt worked with the firm as a summer associate in 2022 where he drafted office action responses, prepared invalidity charts, and wrote patent litigation memoranda. He served as an extern in the Emory University Office of Technology Transfer where he participated in invention disclosure meetings and drafted patent applications. Wyatt participated in the TI:GER® Program, a collaboration between Emory University School of Law and Georgia Institute of Technology that focuses on technology commercialization in a multidisciplinary context. He was a teacher’s assistant in Trademark, Copyright, Patent, and Trade Secret law. Wyatt was also a summer associate at a large intellectual property boutique firm based in Atlanta, Georgia where he prepared office action responses, drafted patent applications, and gave multiple presentations.

While attending the University of Alabama, Wyatt was a Software Engineering Co-op at a major United States aerospace corporation in Rockford, Illinois on an alternating semester basis, where he revised and validated 50+ test scripts pertaining to commercial and military aircraft power systems and executed software logic testing on high voltage power distribution network prototypes.
