Suraj Vege focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Suraj was an associate at a boutique litigation and commercial real estate law firm based in Raleigh, North Carolina where he worked as a commercial litigator in many fields, including complex contract disputes, internal corporate investigations, employment litigation, environmental torts, and products liability. Previously, Suraj served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Louis A. Bledsoe, III in the North Carolina Business Court, where he helped draft and edit legal opinions and orders in complex business cases.
While attending law school, Suraj served as a legal intern in the Federal Public Defender’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia, where he drafted motions and court filings on behalf of indigent defendants. Suraj also served as a legal intern at the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression, a national non-profit specializing in First Amendment advocacy, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Suraj is fluent in French, conversational in Telugu, and is currently learning German and Japanese. Outside of work, he enjoys practicing jiu jitsu, playing piano, and traveling with his family.
