Johan Wedsberg specializes in construction law and dispute resolution. He has experience advising Swedish and international clients on construction and infrastructure projects concerning, e.g., shopping malls, aquatic centers, schools, hotels, office buildings, residential buildings, tunnels, roads, railways, bridges, airports, commercial port facilities, solar power, and nuclear power.
Johan is often engaged to draft and negotiate construction contracts and to provide project advice on large and complex construction and infrastructure projects. He also represents property owners, contractors, and subcontractors in disputes, in both court and arbitration proceedings. Johan also advises on real estate transactions involving construction projects.

Drafted and reviewed construction contracts and related documents for various clients, including some of Sweden’s largest property owners.
Reviewed tender documents in preparation for bid submission in procurements and provided project advice on several major projects, including the Stockholm Bypass Project and the expansion of the subway in Stockholm.
Represented Swedish and international property companies, contractors and subcontractors in litigation and arbitration proceedings.
Represented a Swedish municipality in the district court, court of appeals and the Supreme Court of Sweden in a dispute regarding the recission of a real estate purchase (NJA 2020 s. 470).
Assisted EQT Exeter in a forward funding transaction regarding the acquisition of a residential area in Flemingsberg consisting of 400 apartments from ByggVesta.
Assisted Fastighets AB Hemmaplan in its acquisition of Gottsunda Centrum from Uppsala Stadshus (Uppsala City Hall).
Assisted Niam in a forward commitment transaction regarding the acquisition of 193 rental apartments under development, located in Jönköping municipality.
Assisted Niam in a forward commitment transaction regarding the acquisition of 86 rental apartments under development, located in Botkyrka municipality.
Represented contractors and suppliers in legal review procedures of public procurements concerning construction and infrastructure projects.
