Dan Wen focuses his practice on bankruptcy and insolvency matters. He represents businesses, creditors, and bankruptcy committees in insolvency, restructuring, and recovery matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Dan was an associate in the Bankruptcy, Reorganization, and Creditors’ Rights Group at HMB Legal Counsel. Previously, Dan served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Jack B. Schmetterer for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
While attending Michigan State University College of Law, Dan was a Student Clinician in its Civil Rights Clinic.
Dan was recognized in 2026 as one of the "Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch" for Commercial Litigation by The Best Lawyers in America®.
