Teresa Zhao is a registered patent attorney specializing in patent prosecution and counseling. She assists clients in securing and protecting their intellectual property rights, with a particular focus on patent strategy and portfolio development. Teresa’s experience encompasses developing patent filing strategies, preparing and prosecuting patent applications, and conducting patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses.
Prior to joining the firm, Teresa practiced at intellectual property law firms, where she handled a broad range of patent prosecution matters across diverse technical fields, including computer software, video coding and processing technologies, medical devices, mechanical systems, telecommunications, autonomous systems, and payment technologies. She also has experience preparing appeal briefs and supporting patent litigation matters, including claim chart preparation, infringement analysis, and drafting complaints.
Teresa is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
