Overview

Sarah Anderson focuses her practice on domestic and international trademark counseling, portfolio management, registry disputes, and online and offline enforcement programs. She regularly counsels some of the most iconic global brands across various industries, including retail, e-commerce, fashion, entertainment, and technology.

Sarah worked with the firm as a summer associate in 2018. While attending law school, she worked as a research assistant, surveying data and drafting memorandum relating to trademarks, copyrights, and other areas of intellectual property law. Sarah also served as a judicial intern for United States Magistrate Judge Patricia Sullivan in the U.S. District Court for the District of Rhode Island where she researched and analyzed case law and statutes relevant to ongoing litigation, drafted opinions and orders, and prepared the Judge for hearings, status conferences, and other civil and criminal proceedings. She was Managing Editor of the North Carolina Journal of Law and Technology. Sarah also served as a Dean’s Fellow and an Honors Writing Scholar. Sarah participated in the Holderness Moot Court Competition earning Top 8 Appellate Advocate and Top 10 Written Brief, and she was a national competitor at the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition.

While attending New York University, Sarah studied abroad for a semester in Prague, Czech Republic.

Sarah was recognized as a New York “Rising Star” in 2022, 2023 and 2024 for Intellectual Property by Super Lawyers magazine.
