Overview

John Brigagliano focuses his practice on data privacy compliance, biometric technologies, AI, e-commerce, electronic signatures, technology licensing and procurement, and cross-border transactions.

In particular, John structures data privacy compliance strategies and efficiently resolves CCPA and GDPR compliance hurdles for companies across a variety of industries. John also supports providers and customers of biometric technologies to launch consumer and employee-facing products. Often assisting clients with global operations, John handles cross-border e-signature, data transfer, and e-commerce matters.

John has spoken on biometric privacy and cross-border data transfer issues in front of groups such as the Georgia Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel, the Atlanta Chapter of the International Association of Privacy Professionals, and the International Privacy and Security Forum.

Prior to launching his legal career, John was a Special Education Teacher at Seaford Senior High School in Seaford, Delaware, where he was placed as part of Teach for America and, along with teaching students with disabilities, he coached varsity golf.

John was recognized in 2024 and 2025 as one of the "Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch" for Technology Law by The Best Lawyers in America®.
