Tatum Andres focuses her practice on data privacy compliance and product counseling, including advising on cross-border data transfers, updating privacy policies to ensure clear consent to data processing, and guiding clients who utilize AI and biometric technologies.
Tatum assists companies across industries to navigate the complexities of evolving privacy laws and develop tailored data privacy strategies. Her experience includes assisting clients in creating compliant, consumer-facing products such as websites and mobile apps.
Prior to joining the firm, Tatum was a law clerk in the Chicago, Illinois office of a well-established law firm where she drafted privacy notices and aided in developing internal company policies.
While attending Chicago-Kent College of Law, Tatum served as a legal intern at one of the nation's largest law school legal clinics in Chicago, Illinois.
While attending Miami University, Tatum served as an intern for the House Committee on Energy and Commerce in Washington, D.C. where she reviewed documents and testimony for the committee hearing on Facebook transparency and use of consumer data, analyzed discrepancies, and communicated to legal counsel and professional staff.
